Easily the most reached-for item in my summer wardrobe is this skirt that I decided to design and sew one afternoon on a whim. No pattern needed—only measurements—and whipped up in a lightweight 100% cotton voile, it uses elastic ruching at the waist and every last bit of fabric. Now that’s what I call satisfying.
