American West Coast

In August of 2012, we flew to Vancouver, rented a car and drove round-trip to San Francisco. It was to be our first experience of the American west coast. Traveling southward, we pushed through the coastal interior in constant competition with forest fire smoke. Returning to Vancouver along the coast, we were smothered by a thick fog which seemed eerily tethered to our rental car.
