Frames

I had the honour of being commissioned to frame painter Isabella Ramirez’s 2025 OCADU graduate show series. Isa planned for two styles of frames: a traditional 1 1/2 inch band frame for her larger works, and a wide-wood frame for her 8, 10 and 12 inch canvases. We continued with these two formats for subsequent showings, exploring different wood species to complement Isa’s newer paintings.
